Teh colour squaries

Obviously for the 'Pixel Art Gallery Icon Contest!'.

I remember this contest the last time, didn't do too well then. Hopefully might get a look in this time around.

I see pixels as the building blocks for all digital art. This tiny piece is supposed to show these blocks, thus defining the category.

I drew some cubes (pixels) then stacked them. Redid them as they looked too 'tight'. Coloured them. Added the PA 'slate' to fill that gap in the corner. Last addition was the shadow, something I like seeing nowadays on DA.
